Earth Rider extends the cycling experience to include a 5-room bike-friendly hotel offering comfortable overnight accommodations in downtown historic Brodhead. Each guest room is stylish, witty, magical and surprising featuring quiet luxury and comfort. Whether visiting South-Central Wisconsin for a night or longer, guests will enjoy fresh air and a quiet, non-congested rural setting for rest or recreation. Rooms
Earth Rider Hotel features 5 comfortable rooms. Each room is named after one of the 5-time winners of the Tour de France, the world's greatest bicycle event. Although each room features unique bicycle themed elements, you need not be a cyclist to enjoy the quiet restfulness of each room. Key ingredients include individuality, color, modern decor, oak floors, doors, and trim, and custom made furniture. The Earth Rider property is non-smoking.

If you are bringing your own bicycle, we have indoor storage in the back of the building for quick and easy access to your bicycle while you are in town.
Room Rates
For a limited time all room rates are $109 per night per room on holiday weekends (Fri., Sat. & Sun.), $99 per room per night on other weekends and $80 per night during the week (regular $120 per night). There is a $10 surcharge for more than two people in a room and for pets. All rooms are the same price. Take advantage of this special rate now to experience the unique ambiance of Earth Rider.

Since you are where you sleep, our beds are designed to help you live in the moment. Sink into the comfy plush pillow-top mattress under a cozy duvet. Wrap yourslef in crisp white cotton sheets and rest your head on soft feather down pillows. Sweet dreams.

Earth Rider Hotel guests are invited to enjoy the unique glass enclosed snack bar that is both a center of activity and an escape. This glass enclosed common area offers continential breakfast designed to quench a person's thirst for comfort. Or escape from your room for a while to read a book or enjoy a refreshing beverage in this inspiring space.
A guest refrigerator and microwave is available to store cold beverages, left overs, or warm up a snack or drink. Earth Rider strives to be a sustainable business and practices recycling.
The Deck

Plan to spend some time relaxing outdoors with a second floor view of Brodhead on the new Yellow Jersey Deck. Since the fall of 2008 guests have enjoyed breakfast or an evening snack on the spacious outdoor retreat available exclusively for our guests.

The seven time Tour de France winner's namesake room features three tall reproduction historic windows with a view of Brodhead's downtown Tinker's square, a king size poster bed, colorful posters of The Man on his Trek bike and a retro pebble designer lavoratory in the bathroom. After a day of pedaling your heart out you deserve to reward yourself with a relaxing evening in this room.

Jacques Anquetil Room #2
The first cyclist to win five Tour de France races is awarded the room in the front with a view of historic Exchange Street and the Brodhead square. The rich, dark king size sleigh bed and wardrobe is accented with spectular Graham Watson photography. This room is spacious and elegant and one you'll want to experience. Pets are allowed in this room with permission.

Bernard Hinault Room #3
Family and friends go with cycling and this room accomodates both. Named after Frenchman Bernard Hinault, nicknamed the Badger, this room features two comfortable Queen beds, fun, bicycle-themed art, and a natural stone-topped lavatory in the bathroom. You can keep your family and friends close, but not too close in this spacious retreat.

Just as Eddy Merckx ruled two-wheel sport for a decade, this room rules in the quest for comfort and serenity. From the rich, dark wood of the Queen Sleigh bed and bathroom vanity and mirror to the whirlpool tub and stand alone shower this room is designed to calm the senses. This room features organic cotton sheets. Located in the center of this historic builing, there are no outside windows to mare the solitude. Peace.

The first man to win five consecutive Tours with a reputation for power and benevolence is the inspiration for this retreat. Featuring a Queen sized bed and a full size Futon, this room is designed to accomodate individuals, couples, familes, and pets. Reproduction antique bicycle posters and a dramatic green plexiglass bathroom vanity adds to the drama and makes the experience memorable.

Miquel Indurain Room

Pets
Studies show that people who love bicycles also love dogs and cats so we welcome your well-trained pet in the Miquel Indurain Room #5 and the Jacques Anquetil Room #2.. We trust that you will assure your animal does not disturb other guests and is kept on a lease when outside your room. Based on requests from our guests with allergies, pets are not allowed in the other rooms.
Health Club Privileges
Work out for free at
Brodhead Health & Fitness, 804 23rd Street, just 1/2 mile south when you are a guest at Earth Rider. This full service health club has an indoor track and a full aerobic and weight training facility, showers, sauna, and nursery. Tanning and massage is also available for a fee. Hours are M-Th 5am - 10pm; F 5am - 7pm; Sat 7am - noon; Sun 8am - noon.

Payment Methods
We accept credit cards including Visa, Master Card, Discover, and American Express and cash. We request a credit card to hold a room reservation, however we do not charge your card until your visit.

If you are making a reservation for a visit in less than 24 hours, please give us a call on the phone to be assured that we will know to expect you.
Cancellation Policy
Full refunds will be provided if cancellations are received a minimum of 3 days prior to your reservation date. For cancellations received with less than 3 days notice, you will be charged for the entire stay, plus tax, unless we are able to rebook the room. For groups reserving 3 or more rooms on any given night, we require 7 days notice of cancellation or you will be charged for any rooms we are unble to book. We appreciate you letting us know as soon as your plans change.
