Rides
Why ride the same local streets over and over again by yourself when there’s a whole city out there to discover along with like minded people? To live your best cycling life keep things fresh by joining our group rides and events. Our group rides are preplanned routes with a ride leaders to diverse neighborhoods of Chicago and suburbs often with rest stops or self-funded food stops. If you are new to cycling, gain confidence on the road by riding with a group, modeling good cycling behavior, and learning about the safest streets to ride on. Earth Rider group rides are led by experienced ride leaders and favor routes with striped bike lanes, protected bike lanes, bike parkways, quiet residential streets, and off street paths as much as possible. Some rides have destinations that offer food and beverages for a cost, but partaking is always optional and not required to participate in the ride. If you are an experienced city rider, join our rides to explore new destinations and routes and make new friends who share your interest in a cycling lifestyle. Who knows, you might decide to add a ride destination from an Earth Rider ride to your regular ride schedule!
