At Earth Rider we invite you to join us for events and classes around cycling and rides. Some events have a small charge or we request a reservation so please read the event details before you come out.
Earth Rider events consist of invited speakers on interesting topics related to cycling. Topics may include U.S. and international bike trip reports, advocate inspiration, bike maintenance best practices, fitness tips, mobility trends, and bike culture updates. From time to time we also have events to share information to enable you to conquer city streets by bike such as rules of the road, components of a bicycle, how to accessorize your bike, especially for winter, and where to bike.
In the business of great rides
Our group rides are pre-planned routes with a ride leader to diverse neighborhoods in the city and suburbs often including rest stops or self-funded food stops. For those new to cycling it provides an opportunity to ride with the visibility of a group, learn recommended routes, and model behavior of experienced riders. For experienced riders these group rides are an opportunity to ride with other of like mind. Reservations are requested. If you do not have a bike available to ride, reserve an Earth Rider regular or electric rental bike.
All Earth Rider classic group ride cue sheets are listed on the Ride Spot platform. If you want to know a route before or after a ride, we invite you to check out the Ride Spot Earth Rider profile and follow us. You can download cue sheets from the classic rides tab in the center of the page to print or follow along via your smart phone while on your bike.
The best routes are the ones you haven't ridden. You could pedal the same loops year after year. But to grow, you need new rides." -Mark Remy, Bicycling Magazine
